Yarn in a Tea Cup Swap

Not my original idea but I thought it looked fun!! Anyone like knitting and tea?

Send some Yarn - It could be new or something from your stash, but it must be unused and not something you’ve already attempted to knit with. There should be enough for a small project i.e. a mug cozy, small bag, a pair of mittens/gloves, a pair of socks or a small scarf ( 50g balls/skeins to 100g ball/skein). Also, include a teacup, could be vintage or new. The total value should be approximately $10- $15.

lol the first time I read this I thought it said, 'Yam in a tea cup' and wondered why anyone would want a tea cup full of sweet potatoe. Man do I need my glasses checked!

this is a fun idea! When you say tea cup, does it have to come with a saucer? I would prefer a mug but will take whatever comes :-) I'm watching for now :-)

jerilynfoley 11/30/2009 #

Can we ask for a mug instead - I don't drink tea but I'd love to do the swap.

This is more a senders choice, I guess you could ask for a mug, but you may not get one. You may get a tea cup with or with out a saucer. You could get a vintage mug, just really is up to sender.

Oh this would be great! I've only participated in one swap though :(

I would prefer a mug (it'll get used WAY more often) but I'll be happy with whatever you send!
