INTERNATIONAL The theme for this tip-in is "End of Summer". Now that we are in our last month of summer, I thought it a perfect time to reflect upon and express our spent summer days. You will create 1 tip-in for 2 partners. For this tip-in we will use a piece of 8 1/2" by 11" cardstock. It shall be folded in half midsection, top to bottom, so that the folded page now equals 8 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" wide (folded). You will create on the inside of the (folded) cardstock, a full page spread, leaving the outside (the back of the page) empty. Please....create your art only on the inside of the folded stock. This will enable your partner to insert it into their journal. Try not to make it too bulky and keep embellishments toward the outside edges so participants can insert their tip-ins into their journals / books. For those who are new to tip-ins: It is an addition to an altered book or journal. The pages are glued in place (into the altered book or journal). Because they are light weight and inexpensive to mail; I am making this an international swap. As the hostess of this swap, I reserve the right to ban anyone who does not have a rating of 4.7 or higher and must not have more than 2 no send within the past 2 months It would be nice to upload pictures onto the gallery (whether sending or receiving) so all can see your work. If you are the receiver and your partner didn’t already upload a picture of the tip-in you received, might you upload the picture for us? It’s always fun to see everyone else’s take on a given topic. Above all…….Have fun! See you around the swap-bot and have a most beautiful day….. *Should you need a little guidance or inspiration: http://www.princetonol.com/groups/iad/lessons/middle/ABooks.htm http://www.alteredbookartists.com/abnews/index.html
