Description:

For this swap you will make 1 chunky book to send to your partner. You get to pick the character(s) (Jacob, Edward, Bella, Alice, any other character, or a combination...) you include in your book and pick a theme (love, hate, outdoors, a location from the book, whatever theme you want!). You could make your book about your fav characters or your partners or even the characters you love to hate!

Here is the official definition of chunk book from swapbot:

Chunky Book - A handmade book, usually 4-1/2" x 4"( the extra 1/2" allows for binding), in which the pages are decorated with dimensional ("chunky") materials, such as beads, charms, buttons, tiles, etc. If your book closes flat, then it's not a chunky book. In most chunky book swaps you will have multiple partners for which you create the same or similar pages. Here on Swap-bot, you send your pages directly to each of your partners, participants then bind their own books together once they have received all the pages. In other chunky book swaps, you will create an entire chunky book for just one partner, creating all the pages and binding.

Make sure you put some love and elbow grease into these and make them super special and super chunky!!! You want them to be fat and thick!

I've been wanting to try one of these!!!

just to clarify..... We make the whole chunky book right? bind it and then send it to our partner? can it be 4X4 w/o the binding I have a ton of chipboard coasters that would be great for this project, then I could bind it.

I have also been wanting to try one of these, but been a little intimidated by them, doing a twilight one would be a great way to break the ice... so to speak!

WOW, chipboard coasters, what a great idea, I'd never thought of that. Can't wait to see the answer to your question.

OK, I didn't get an answer, so I'm gonna sign up, and plan on using chipboard coasters for this! So If I'm your partner know that Is what I plan to use, and I just hope that I do it right!

Also this doesn't specify the # of pages this book ids to have, is this up to us??? I'm assuming it should have no fewer than 3 (since it will be Chunky& hard to close). Since I haven't done these, I just dont want to mess up, and have my partner be dissappointed.
