This will be a series of monthly swaps, but you don't have to join each month. You will have one partner each time. The stitcheries are 6 x 6 inch finished and can be used for a quilt, a wall hanging, a pillow, a tote bag, or whatever you like.

Make an embroidery on a piece of calico in the theme and color of your partner’s choice. The embroidery should fit in a 6 x 6 inch square, so make sure your fabric is 7 x 7 inch.

Because it's stitchery you can use primarily basic stitches: backstitch, running stitch, straight stitch and French knots.It can be appliqued or even pieced, as long as it meets the persons themes and colours.
