I love Autumn. The weather cools, the trees change colors and Halloween is here! Your mission if you choose to accept it is to make a HALLOWEEN THEMED ALTERED BOX.

  • the box should at least be 3 1/2" wide
  • there is no material stipulation on the box as long as it opens + closes its considered a box just make sure to be creative as possible.
  • decorate the outside a n d the inside
  • use glitter, images, beads, stickers - let your imagination go wild!
  • go for hearts and style it to your partners liking - if your their favorite show is the munsters make it a munsters/halloween box :)
  • make sure to see your partners profile for any dislikes (witches, horror, etc...)
  • add a special treat inside as an added surprise (stickers, candy, pins, postcard, rubber stamp, etc..)

Please make a real effort to send something nice to your partner and dont forget to have fun!

The only requirements is at least one swap with a 4.5 or above. This is USA and Canada only because of the high shipping cost to send a box. Feel free to start an international swap - I would love to see pictures from swappers in other countries.

  • i am moving up the date to August 30th cuz I wont be around to assign partners this weekend. :) Just a heads up.

Hi Phoenyx - Noted. Also I noticed your profile says you are allergice to cats. I have cats and so does my room mate. When partners are assigned - I will make sure to find you someone who does not have a cat. :)

As long as the cat hair is contained.. it should not be too much of a problem. I only had problems with one swap.. and it was covered in hair. Usually paper goods do not carry the hairs as much as fiber goods..

Beckster, yours is done, but I am waiting until my DIL comes today to see it before I wrap it up and mail it. It will go out to you either today or tomorrow. I hope you like it. I had so much fun making it.

I just uploaded two photos (in backwards order!) of the box I altered. BECKSTER, if you want to be surprised, don't look.

I will fill it now, and then get it mailed out this afternoon.
