Do these have to be store bought kits, or can we make the kits to send? For example: Send copy of a cross stitch chart we have on hand, aida, full skeins of the colors needed to complete the chart, needle, embellishments if needed, etc.?

I am moving this to watch for now. Need to clear out a few swaps and make sure I can handle this one, but will probably be back before the deadline:))

You can make your own kits, no problem =) Just make it good copies, because that really is the most important thing (and I know how hard it is to work with bad ones, I just finished one. Guesswork is not fun...).

Fun idea. On my watchlist for now. :)

Re themes - not that fussy - cats, flowers, landscapes, cute things - love them all! Thanks for being so clear about the sizes of kits - it really helps.

have been x-stitching like a nut these days... happy to find this swap in time

Oh, I'm not crazy about "country" x-stiches or cutesy modern (at the beach, funny old ladies)... prefer primitive, Victorian, and subversive... if that's too specific, I'll be happy to receive whatever.
