This is a cross stitch kit swap. A kit has to include at least the chart, aida (plastic or cloth) and all the right thread you need to sew it. Feel free to make your own kits! Senders choice in themes, but the package has to include either:

  • 4 small kits (like small kits that comes with magazines, ornaments, one-nighters)

OR

  • 2 medium kits (like small pictures to hang on the wall, bottle aprons, bibs)

OR

  • 1 large kit (pillow, large picture)

OR

  • 1 medium and 2 small kits

No religious or offensive stuff unless recipient request it. You have to have at least 50 ratings of 5 to join, and no unexplained 3's and 1's.

Good Luck with your wishes and desires of 50 ratings. Why don't you just make this a private swap? I would have joined this swap, and I have embroidered for years. I'll take my measly 7 hearts and 5.0 rating somewhere else, K

Woohoo! I watched the first 2 of these go by and I finally have enough swaps under my belt to join! I need to go through my xs stash and see what size my kits are first though....

what are bottle aprons and bibs?

Bibs are for babies, and I think bottle aprons are decorations for wine bottles used when pouring? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

KellyJo: 50 ratings is not much. I don't expect them to be any particular type of ratings, and getting 50 ratings by joining e-mail and postcard swaps is VERY easy, and VERY fast. I've been here for a bit over a year and have 600!

Rats, I can't join this swap. I looked through my stash, and yes I have a ton of kits, but apparently I am the queen of starting but not finishing. All but 2 of mine have at least 2 colors started, and one of the undone ones is missing parts!
