Description:

These are my favorite days, when our days cool off and grow just a little more quiet and still. Let's welcome the changing of seasons into each others' kitchens with a winter kitchen swap from your home to your partner's.

We will:

  • have 1 partner

  • send 1 handmade dishtowel/tea towel or 2 handmade dishcloths, made in a winter or Christmas fabric pattern or colors. The handmade method is up to you and your talents/abilities; sewing, crocheting, or knitting are all acceptable methods, and I bet you crafty ladies have even more ideas beyond those.

  • send 1 tried & true winter recipe on a recipe card (maybe something using wintery ingredients or something to warm you up on cool days) OR send a note about a typical or favorite winter meal in your home

  • write a nice, short letter to your partner to help her welcome the new season and get to know a bit more about you :-)

Please package this swap to protect it well during shipping. Placing the towel in a plastic bag will help it resist any spills it may meet along the way.

Sending Domesticated swaps no later than the send-by date is considered a swap requirement. In the rare circumstance that you must send late, please contact your partner AND the swap host prior to the send date. Thank you for your consideration!

This swap is open to all group members, including international members, who are in good standing (no unexplained 1s or 3s; please contact the host if there is an extenuating circumstance).

This swap isn't profile specific, so feel free to start crafting before partners are assigned. I hope you all have a beautiful season!

Holy cow! I totally missed the partner-assignment date. I've pushed the swap back a week to compensate for it. The new due date is December 11. If we can send sooner, that's better, but the 11th is the official date. :-)
