Description: | |
This is a creative letter swap in which you will write from one world to another. When you sign up, post a comment containing the universe/fandom and character you would like to write as with a breif description of both. (Assume your partner hasn't heard of it but save the details for your letter.) The Universe can be anything from a book, movie, tv show, video game, or other alternate reality. The Character can be an original from the story or a someone you invent to fit into that world. Examples: A hobbit from Lord of the Rings (Middle Earth), Luke Skywalker from star wars universe, your World of Warcraft avatar...etc. When partners are assigned you will look at who you are sending to and write a letter from the point of view of your character to their character. See if you can come up with some kind of reason you are writing across universes (eg, I am captain Kirk sending a message to whoever is on the other side of this wormhole...) The contents of the letter are up to you but please make it at least two pages long (or one page front and back.) If you want to make it extra special try decorating your letter to make it look like it came from your world. Don't worry about writing some kind of masterful story, this is about having fun! If you get stuck for ideas you are very welcome to PM me for help. This is open to anyone with 4.8+ rating. Newbies allowed if you PM me before I assign partners and have a lot in your profile. I will angel if necessary but if you flake you will get many annoying emails from me. (This was moved here from the geek central group in case you're confused) |
