Here's another simple project: a make-up bag! Of course, you can use it for anything you like, not just make-up. The difference between this pouch and some others we've made in this group is that we'll be using either fusible vinyl or if you want to make it even easier on yourself, you can use laminated fabric. Here is a tute for a make-up bag & it gives instructions on using the fusible vinyl. However, you can certainly just use the tute for making it with laminated fabric. Amy Butler has some gorgeous laminated fabrics, but you can also find them at Hancocks and other fabric stores (plus use a coupon)! You'll find fusible vinyl there as well, usually with the interfacings. You do not need to use that tutorial. The only requirements for this swap is 1) that you make a pouch at least 6 x 4" & 2) it has laminated fabric on the inside. Have fun! |
