In the words of Rivka C. Berman: "[Sukkot] deals with important matters of faith and unity with laughter, feasts, and song." And, that is exactly what we will be sending to our partners! One item dealing with Jewish faith, suggestions are bread cloth, decorated container (not plastic) handmade jewellery, spice box, Jewish charms, shabbat candle holders, whatever you think would be nice to receive! And one other item which is up to you with regard to your partners profile of course! This could be food (kosher if thats what they specify). You should try and keep in mind Sukkot and laughter, feast and songs if possible when seeking inspiration THESE ARE JUST IDEAS THE ONLY ITEM THAT NEEDS TO BE STRICTLY JEWISH IS ITEM #1! PLEASE feel free to use your own ideas and talents! You will have one partner, you will send at least two items, and they should cost around $7-$10 total (not each!). Please check your partner's profile for likes, dislikes, allergies, etc. Kosher foods can be found very easily in the US and Canada. You can add your preferences in your profile or in the forum below if you keep Kosher or have specific allergies, etc. You must be a member of Jewish Swappers in good standing. Please no, no-sends. Feel free to contact me directly if you need any assistance! |
