Our October wash/dish cloth will be inspired by the holidays. Think gholsts, pumpkins, witch hats, candy corn..... I can not give a size it must conform to but it should be like 8 to 9 inches in one direction. I know Lyon's and Lily's web sites have some patterns you might look into....they are free.
