I don't often leave random comments on the Swap-bot profiles of people that I don't know (but when I do...) -- the 'genealogy' mention on your profile made my eyes light up. I'm also deeply rooted in England, and slightly less so in the Netherlands. I wish I could tell you I have postcards or memorabilia of the places on your list -- not yet, but if I ever do (and it coincides with my swapping life) I'll pass them your way, as I understand the desire for them! Maybe I'll cross paths with you in a genealogy swap someday? (Do they do those here? I searched for them once, but didn't have much luck...)
Hi, I forwarded the postcard I received, it had room for 1 or 2 more people, that was some time ago. that was the only one I received and I never got the one I sent out when the swap started back, they must be in limbo somewhere. I had forgotten that swap it has been so long since I sent it on. Marcia
Hi Annie, I noticed that there are a lot of your items that you could get crossed off your Bucket list with one trip to Alaska. You would love it here! We have geothermal pools here as well. And we have earthquakes everyday. We have Salmon sharks which are cousins to the Great White. and all different kinds of whales. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
