Hi! I am so glad the weather is beautiful today for our APDG ~ June Picnic Challenge ;-)
My contributions to the picnic are:
MEMORIES, Reminiscing & keeping up family traditions ;-)
IN THE TRADITION OF MY GRAND DADDY I WILL BRING HIS GIANT GALVANIZED TUB (That I still have ;-) FULL OF ASSORTED BOTTLES OF SOFT DRINKS! ;-) He did this for our large family reunion at the LAKE every June! When I was little he would load me and everything in the back of his truck (Early in the morning) and we would go to the Icehouse to get huge blocks of ICE in the tub;-) Then we would go to the Pavilion Early. He would chip the ice up & I would put the drinks in ;-) It was so cold to your hands to pull one out of that ice water at the end of the day! There were always plenty for everyone too, 2 or 3 ;-) And when I got older I always brought a favorite ;-) The punch bowl cake! I would divide the BUTTER cakemix into 3 pans & bake.
Open all cans &
SEPARATE out 10 pretty strawberry Halves for decorative topping ;-)
In the puncbowl layer;
1.) 3/4 can of Strawberry pie filling in the bottom
2.) 1/2 of a Large COOL WHIP
3.) CAKE
4.) 1 can of Blueberry pie filling
5.) 1/2 of a Large COOL WHIP
6.) CAKE
7.) 1 1/4 cans of Strawberry pie filling
8.) 1/2 of a Large COOL WHIP
9.) CAKE
10.) 1 can of Blueberry pie filling
11.) 1/2 of a Large COOL WHIP
12.) Strawberries & Chopped Pecans topping ;-P

I was looking at the forecast in your area and it looks refreshingly cool, compared to Texas! Ahhh, so very nice! So to get you started, it may be fun for you, your furry family members and the little girl you care for, to enjoy some out door time on sunny days with this...
Then for the overcast days or light rains, you and the child may find it fun, taking turns using this one...
Hehe, I wonder what the dogs and cat will think when they see you making funny faces with that umbrella! :-) Now by the end of the week, when it may really pour, you may find this one useful...
...this way, perhaps you may all huddle together and be protected from the rain!
I am here for APDG~May Flowers Swap
Spring is such a wonderful time of year. When flowers begin to bloom I feel so great. One of my favorites is the lilac bush because it smells so great.
I also love sunflowers because they are my state flower (I am from Kansas)
I adore seeing the Japanese Cherry Blossom floating on the Spring wind.
I simply love butterflies and they are not picky about where they land. They just need a flower to land on and they are content.
Right now we are having a very wet Spring so the flowers are very happy. I hope you have flowers blooming in your neck of the woods. If not-- enjoy these flowers on your profile.
