Hi, I'm Denise :) I'm from London, but live in Cambridge, England, with my fiancée Harriet and our two cats and two dogs.

I'm a vegan and intersectional feminist, an activist, and I love to crochet, cross stitch, sew, and read. I'm more than a little obsessed with Alice in Wonderland!

I love: Charles Dickens, the Victorian era, graveyards, Tim Burton, The circus/ carnival (particularly the vintage and weird/ wonderful/ artistic side! Think fire eaters, sword swallowers, fortune tellers, elaborate costumes, red and white stripes, circus lettering/ signs/ lighting etc), bees, bats, foxes, cats, Harry Potter (Ravenclaw), Skulls, Playing cards (esp. the ace of spades), Hygge, Frida Kahlo, Candles, Beach/ nautical theme (esp. beach huts, anchors), vintage/ retro stuff, the occult, Ouija boards, Second hand/ antique books, Junk shops, religious kitsch, Gingerbread men, Wicca, Vodou and Santeria (eclectic and uninitiated), kundalini yoga, Oya, Kali-Ma, la virgen de Guadalupe, astral travel, crystals, catholic saints, goddess power, meditation, Buddhism, yoni power, world music (especially drumming, chanting or for meditation), herbalism.

My favourite books are: The Night Circus, Alice's Adventures in wonderland and Through the looking glass, The Wizard of Oz series, Little women, The Chronicles of narnia, The Anne of green gables series, Anything by Charles Dickens (particularly A Christmas Carol), Early Stephen king, Everything by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

I listen to jungle, DnB, 90s hip hop, metal, house... I love Sia, Guns n Roses, Iron Maiden, Fleetwood Mac, Cypress Hill, and Prince.

My family is Irish, so I have love for Irish mythology/ folklore, traditional music, art etc.

I'm very crafty, and put a LOT of effort into sending high quality swaps. I also ALWAYS get a proof of postage receipt, so if something hasn't turned up, please contact me before giving a negative rating!

I collect Alice in Wonderland items, especially books from around the world. I also collect postcards from around the world, and enamel pins.
