Godiva

I love to crochet and belong to two volunteer groups. One group had a 2010 goal of making and donating 1000 items and we made and donated 1016 items. We have been recognized as a WORK OF HEART nominee.

I love to read mysteries and political non-fiction (however, sometimes the non-fiction seems more fiction ;-) ). I like Stuart Woods, Janet Evanovich, Sue Grafton, Elaine Viets, Edna Buchanan.

I am married and we have a chocolate lab named Godiva and a cat named Xenakitty. I retired from a Florida Sheriff's Office where I worked in Jail Management as a Commander. We live on 5 acres just outside High Springs, FL and love it. I love to sit on the back porch in the evening and crochet hats and booties for our local Pediatric Oncology Unit or lap robes for HOSPICE.
