hi, just wanted to mention something i saw in a help section. your newly planted Rhubarb should be left to grow and not be picked in the first year. I do not know if this is for all varieties as there are a few. It apparently makes it stronger and gives it a better chance to wait for the seond year. I have just pulled the first load from my garden a couple of days ago it is an early variety i believe and tastes wonderful. all the best.
