Hi, my name is Jace. I'm a Minister Of Domestic Affairs (AKA stay-at-home mom) who enjoys reading and crafting on a daily basis.
I live in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, with my hubby and 15-year-old son.
I had worked as a Personal Assistant for many years but stopped working about 3 years ago due to some health issues. Right now, I'm taking one day at a time and enjoying the quiet time at home. :)
===================================
I will send every international swap by Air Mail, which should usually reach most places between 2 and 4 weeks. I will ALWAYS message my swap partner AFTER I've sent the package so that he/she will know exactly when I sent it. Whenever possible, I'll mail my swaps one week before the deadlines so my partners do not have to wait too long.
I will honour each and every swap that I sign up for, i.e. I will not flake.
View the swaps I've already sent. ATTENTION: if you are waiting for a swap package from me, DO NOT view these photos if you don't want spoilers - yours is probably displayed here too.
Unusual bookmarks ---> What I mean by "unusual" is anything other than the printed paper type. I'm currently collecting hook bookmarks.
Colours ---> My favourite colours are blue, pink, lavender, pinkish-red ... anything with blue-pink-rose tone is fine. I like silver, not so much into gold.
For Postcard Swaps ---> Architecture (historic buildings, houses, architecture specific to your country), Gardens/Parks (especially when there are flowers), Street Scenes, Castles, Nature landscapes (rivers, fields, mountains)
Buttons ---> I'm always collecting bright and colourful buttons for my craft projects.
Beads ---> I use a lot of beads in my crafts - mostly glass, ceramic, acrylic. I love Murano millefiori beads and beads that look like these.
Retro ---> I like the retro look of the 50's and early 60's. Think Grease and Hairspray movies.
Duck and Owl ---> I like all sorts of ducks but only Snowy owls.
Beatrix Potter illustrations ---> I like her stories and the charming illustrations.
English cottages ---> I find these charming. I cross-stitch lots of Lilliput Lane ones.
Paris, France ---> I like the scenery - the streets, buildings and outdoor bistros.
Ribbons ---> especially with prints - flowers, checks, plaids, whimsical designs.
Disney ---> I love the theme parks and some of the movies. Been to DisneyWorld and DisneyLand. My all-time favourite Disney movie is Beauty & The Beast ... I'm a sucker for fairy tales and happily-ever-after.
Forever Friends ---> I love the very cute bears and their friends.
Castles ---> top on my list is the Neuschwanstein in Germany, but I like all castles except spooky, decrepit ones.
Flowers ---> The rose is my flower of choice, but I like almost all types of flowers.
Colours ---> I don't fancy orange, brown, green. Also don't like dull dark colours and pale washed-out tones.
Psychedelic prints, colours and look. No hippie or tie-dye anything for me.
No cutesy or kid-ish cartoons/characters such as Hello Kitty, Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake and kawaii anything. (I, however, love the Forever Friends.)
No foodstuff please.
Also don't like nudity, skulls, crossbones, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, zombies, dark creatures and goth anything.
Crochet ---> Was the first craft I picked up ... I was about 12 at that time. I like to incorporate beads in my crochet to make modern accessories.
Cross-stitch ---> I've been cross-stitching for about 24 years now and there's still room for improvement. I can't draw or paint to save my life so I use threads, needle and canvas to create art. :)
Origami ---> I also like a bit of origami - just simple ones - which I use to embellish cards and bookmarks.
ATCs ---> I've recently discovered ATCs and I enjoy making them a lot. They really get the creative juices flowing. :)
Felt work ---> I'm making a lot of felt things too - embellishments, keychains, small pouches, bookmarks ... simple things like these.
You can see the work I've done on my blog and in my Etsy shop.
I'm an avid reader and usually go through at least 2 novels a week. I read mostly fiction. I especially like medieval tales, fantasy-fairytales and sci-fi romance (SFR).
I stay away from chick-lit.
Music plays an important role in my life. It keeps me calm and happy. Whenever I'm crafting, I'm almost always plugged into my iPod.
I listen to many types of music, ranging from classical violin and piano concertos to Linkin Park. :)
I like blues-rock (Gary Moore, BB King).
Dean Martin, Beatles.
And popera (Alessandro Safina, Il Divo).
Also some Oasis, Audioslave, Keane, Coldplay, Korn.

I've been to Neushwanstein Castle in Germany when I was a child.I seen that you had it as one of your likes.I lived in and around Lahr Germany for about 6 years as a kid and that's one of the places we went.DisneyLands castle motif was fashioned after that very castle.
Good to see you around my friend. If your looking to get a swap under your belt here maybe if your interested we could come up with a private swap.I can let you know what that is and how it works. If interested please pm me with some ideas and I'll give you some details.Happy Swapping.
