My name is Katy and I'm 18 years old. I recently moved to Florida from Maryland. So I have Maryland, Washington DC, and Florida cards. I'll be starting college in a week, doing general studies. But I know that I want to help animals as a career. I'm just not sure if I want to be a zoologist or marine biologist. =) I like to volunteer when I have time. It's usually at the humane society or my local library. I love to read. Right now my favorite Author is Charlaine Harris. I love the show True blood. I like to travel and learn about new places. I've been to Canada a lot, but only on the east side of Canada. I love poems and quotes, I could spend hours reading them. I would love for you to incorporate your favorite quote onto a postcard your sending me.

I listen to many different kinds of music. I'm very open minded, so in the same day I can listen to songs from the 40's and then later listen to music that's on the radio know. I love love love John Lennon, he's one of my favorite people. I have a couple postcards with a tribute to him.

I just started to learn how to crochet last year, so I like that but I'm not that well yet. I like to send and receive snail mail. I'm also on another postcard sending site called Postcrossing. =) I love photography and think I'm pretty good at it. Scrapbooking and card making is also something that I love. But when I start, it takes up a lot of my time because I love it. :P
