My husband and I are empty nesters after raising three children. We are fortunate in that they live not too far away, I am still in the workforce and am a project manager by day in the technology industry. But at night I get to sew!!! I love to quilt and sew gifts for those I love. In 2015 I did the Farmgirl Vintage QAL and was so happy to also start the Farmers Wife. I post many of my blocks/projects on instagram which is kimd1207. I also want to make mini quilts in 2016 to decorate my sewing room. Last year I made 49 sew together bags for Christmas gifts...really enjoyed doing that for friends and relatives.

Which is your favourite Farmer’s Wife block so far. Love them all!

• What are your favourite colours.  Aqua, red, pink

• What are the colours you like least. Civil war hues
• What are the fabrics you love.  I love all the updated colors like what is used in Bonnie and Camille.   I really like the Gooseberry line.  I also like Cotton and Steel Fabrics.  I enjoy updated 1930's fabrics.  I like the kind of fabrics that the Thimble Blossoms patterns use or the Fat Quarter Shop quilts.  


• What are the fabrics you like least.  Contemporary ultra modern, drab fabrics and colors that were more popular in the 1990's,


• Do you have any allergies?  no


• What items you might like to receive (baring in mind it’s up to your swapper to decide what they’ll make to swap) 

Anything is appreciated....I don't really want to ask for anything specific. I like to cook so a new recipe would be great!
