Hi!

I'm 26 and I currently work full-time as a master teacher in an infant/toddler classroom. When I'm not working I am usually reading, laughing, watching movies, playing with my pets, or...did I already mention reading?! I live with my significant other, two pitbulls, two baby mice, and a cat. Animals are my passion!!! I have a very sarcastic sense of humor, and am not easily offended. If you are trying to pick items for me but think something you have chosen may be too racy...think again. I love Science, with Zoology and Biology being my main focus. I enjoy things of a bizarre and unusual nature. I try to appreciate both sides of every coin. I believe Life and Death are equally important and fascinating.

Things I like!

The color black, all animals (foxes are my favorite), bones and fossils, the number 27, boxes, books, rubber stamps, sour candy, zombies, stuffed animals/things, kawaii, ATC sleeves, scrapbooking paper, jacquard, gargoyles, ATCs, old military memorabilia, TADO, funky socks, washi tape, anything from different countries, pitbulls, old pictures, Asian art, lilies, orchids, all flowers really, I love art from all religions even though I don't practice one myself, candles ,money from another time or place ephemera, brads, buttons, embellishments in general, tattoos, postage stamps, found objects, amigurumi, small things, bookends, stickers, labels with weird pictures or different languages on them, bottles, vintage (especially jewelry), being outside, creepy things, surprises, bumble bees, dinosaurs, magical things, photography, the female form, and the earth. My ears are stretched to a double zero, and I would love any gauges in that size. Used are okay, as long as they're clean :) Any supplies for the crafts I put down as my favorites.

Things I don't like. :(

Things that are very girly. Jewelry that has a peace sign on it. Anything entirely pink. Texting acronyms. Sappy romance novels. Twilight.

Comment: What a great package to come home to last night! I love everything you sent - I hope my package is as well-liked as this one is! Did you make the book plates? They're great! The journal is lovely, as is the bookmark you made - very simple and sweet, but perfect, too. And the book! I think I saw the Pendragon series at the library once, but was too busy at the time to read it. I started as soon as everything settled in at home last night. I think it's going to be a really fun book! Thanks for all you sent - and I didn't notice until I pulled the card out again that there was a great recipe on the back! Thanks!
Response: Yay!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the package! That makes my day :) I would love to take credit for the book plates, but I didn't make them. They are my favorites and I only use them in special books. I had a feeling you might appreciate them! I'm glad you are pleased with the bookmark. I had intended to collage both sides with dogs and cats, but after I had cut them all out and laid them in place, it just didn't feel right. I decided sometimes less is more and went with a cleaner look. Seeing as this was a book lover's swap, I am most happy to hear how you felt about Pendragon. I had been searching for the right book for you, and when I found Pendragon I felt like it was a good fit. Let me know what you think when you finish it. I may need to find a copy for myself! Hi! I just wanted to tell you that I've put the coin purse you sent me in the whale of a swap to good use. It's the perfect size and shape for my school cafeteria lunch discount card and some change. It's so easy to take the whale coin purse from my backpack before I go into the cafeteria and carry it on the tray. I don't need to start rummaging through my backpack trying to find my wallet and then try to locate the card and then some money while everyone else is waiting and growing impatient. So thank you again, it's a great coin purse!
