Hi, I'm Sigrid, and I live in northwest Michigan (near the pinky finger). It's a small town—actually a village of 700 people. We are surrounded by farmland and woods, and we experience hot summers and brutal winters. I turned 70 in 2026 and have two grown daughters.

I enjoy most types of crafts, such as sewing, card making, ATC's, and making junk journals. Any little thing I can do with my hands is like therapy for my mind, especially when making something for someone special, like you!

One wall in my craft room is devoted to displaying the beautiful things my partners from swap-bot have sent me. Over time, it’s become a colorful, eclectic collection that brings me a lot of joy to look at.

Craft items I use the most include fancy papers, clear flower stickers, anything shabby chic, vintage laces, Tim Holtz, Victorian die cuts and calling cards, unique ribbons, glassine paper or envelopes, and anything in pastels.

BOOKS

I have enjoyed the writings of Watchman Nee, CS Lewis's The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe!!!, and Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum. The Hunger Game. The Hobbit. The Bible. Not in that order because, the last shall be first and first shall be last.

OLIVER

I have a chihuahua named Oliver (Olly for short). He’s quite the character as he is 17 years old but still demands playtime by bringing me toys to play fetch. When I’m too tired, he will pick up a toy and thrash it around until it goes flying across the room to chase.

Shabby chic in pastels, old French, silk ribbons and delicate lace. Vintage and ephemera. Innocence, light hearted, thoughtful, meaningful, beautiful, or peaceful.
