I love mail art & many types of handicrafts - paper crafts, quilting, embroidery, book making, to name a few! I think paper in particular is such a versatile material and can be everything from a surface for writing or visual art to it's own three-dimensional form, like in cut-and-fold models or in pop-up books. I am an academic and part of my research is into book history with a specific focus on movable books, which means books you not only look at and read but also "do something" with your hands, like books with pop-ups but also enclosures, volvelles, flaps, turn-ups, and more. I have always loved paper and paper crafts since childhood, I remember the special excitement of shopping for school supplies at the beginning of each school year. And I love stickers too!
