This small project would be a good test-run for embroidery stitches. Plus, you'd end up w/ a pin cushion for your embroidery needles.

We have a date and place! It's this july in Salem, MA (dripping with irony and a sprinkling of wtf). We're having the ceremony on the town common, and then the reception at the Hawthorne Hotel, which is gorgeous and historical.

I got my "something blue" this weekend while paroosing the flea market that I was working at this weekend. It's a vintage gold chain, and on it is a gold vine-y brooch with blue flowers with blue rhinestone centers. It's pristine and whimsical, and only $3. And today, I got the fabric for my sash. Silky, it has green, pink and blue dots on it.

Oh, and I barely sold shit.
