About Me

Hi!

I am a 53 yr old mom of two boys and I have been married 30 years now to a wonderful man who puts up with my crafting. Both of my sons are autistic (ASD).

I love butterflies and woodland animals such as foxes and deer. I look forward to going to Disneyland in the future.

My family and I do celebrate secular holidays.

Please message me if a swap is late or gone missing. Depending on when the USPS picks up the mail, it may be postmarked the day after I SENT it. This should not cause a problem as I send my mail off days before the send by date.

Favorite Crafts

Mostly I have been diamond painting and embroidery.

This is a picture of diamond painting using a light pad. It can help quite a bit for those that have difficulty seeing.

I tend to do diamond painting with special rhinestones. I just enjoy all the colors. Similar to what you see below. You can see more on my IG link at the top of my profile.

Favorite Music, TV & Books

I prefer listening to YouTube the most. I will have it on in the background while crafting.

My current favorite audio book is Dungeon Crawler Carl.

Small Things I Enjoy

I do enjoy stamped images that I can color in and add to my journals.

Disney characters, especially Mickey, Minnie, Winnie the Pooh, Bambi, Hei Hei, Stitch, Chip and Dale.

Postcards - No preferences.

Taking Extended Break

Feb 2026

I have enjoyed my years swapping and I thank everyone I have met through this awesome website. I will check in rarely but I have overall been quite distant and not wanting to swap for a very long while. I have kept running swaps to help everyone stay connected. The extremely slow load times have just ended it for me. I have not seen an improvement in the past several months.

I am finishing out my Feb group swaps and will only possibly run private swaps for pen pals from this point on though that might end as well.

Again, thank you all for being such awesome swappers. I have loved all the snail mail love!

Comment: I loved that coloring page you completed and tucked in, that made me smile ^^ I had a tough time with the last few letters too [as you know by how super late I was...XD] so it's all good :) I had a recent experience where someone was gonna go ahead and rate me a "1" b/c I was slow to respond to a msg they sent... then we worked it out eventually. This is supposed to be a relaxing hobby T_T one thing that sucks about ADHD? RSD - & I think it can be applied to swapping as well. It can be debilitating..! >0< I'd need a break too.

Comment: I totally get how you're feeling T_T Sorry things didn't go as planned on your trip. A change in plans or especially the attendees of a trip changing would really stress me out >0< sorry to hear. I'd be happy to be the person to go eat at the same restaurant - preferably even to-go for the room to be honest lol :)
Response: I did get room service once while I was there, it was expensive!

Comment: That place seems like a good one to try out - I do hope you feel closure there, for me it was like the 5 stages of grief at first. Coming out on the other side, I like it over here, where things finally make sense and I don't beat myself up over and over for "why am I like this" moments - I gotta do things my way, which might mean making accommodations - right now trying to get that moving for the new building at work we are moving to maybe next year.
Response: I am finding myself going a bit easier on myself and thinking things from a better perspective for me. Less critical

Comment: I know a thing [or 3!] about procrastination...! hehe :P Did you take those computer based tests when you did it? I liked some of them, they were fun. I am nor a DR but that one diagnosis you got before... disagree with that one. I am glad that it's no longer there and you are not dealing with that.

XD Now that I am catching up more on your letters, SO glad they removed that other term from your chart - that one did not seem right to me and I am glad you found a caring doctor and could advocate. It is so so hard for me personally to find quality care these days.
Response: Finding a doctor is a pain then finding one that believes you is even more fun though these newer online Zoom appointment places are nice. I have found it easier to find one that is more tailored to my specific needs.

Comment: A [late] welcome to the club - the ND club - or as I call it but others do not like it sometimes - the "neurospicy" club ;) it's chaos here but those who get it, get it. <3 I find that there are meds that do help with the symptoms that stem from or coordinate with being ND - and they help alleviate some of the mental health challenges that come with the diagnoses. I def would get more opinions and advocate for some other options in that space if you want to try different ones - catching up on your letters and I do see things got better there] <3
