Hi - You are my partner for the Read my Profile and Leave a nice Comment. I see we have some things in common.
It really was nice reading your profile and getting to meet other Swap-bot users.
Very nice to see you like to read. I read a book at a time but not all the time as I also read: newspapers, magazines, and of course many things on the internet.

Hi Megan! Rebecca here from Mount Albert, just north of Toronto Ontario Canada. You have a very interesting profile! And it's nearly as long as mine!! I used to sew a lot and found dyeing very fascinating. I just watched a show that explained how dyeing was done in Victorian times with indigo, golden rod and cochineal. They had to grind the bugs in their mortar and pestle they used for spices and foodstuffs! Yuck! And stale pee was the mordant (that's what the fixative is called right?) I also love mixed media. I am too type A and it helps me get out of my own head a bit. I have to embrace the imperfection! Have you ever used or dyed Sari 'yarn'? I bought some to use (already dyed) and it's so lovely! Makes for great jewelry stringing if you ever do that. I'd love to be a costume designer/make up artist! I watch Project Runway, Face Off, Dancing with the stars and so you think you can dance and drool over the make up and costumes. Funny, I never even dreamed of an artsy career in school. My horizons have broadened so much as I've gotten older and am unable to work at my chosen career of nursing. It's cool that you have both a sciency job and an artistic one.
Thanks for sharing your profile with me I enjoyed reading and learning a little about minonosta and about your school.. you have a very merry christmas. Your partner for read my profile leave a nice comment swap.

Came across your profile from a PF thread. Just wanted to say a belated "welcome" to Swap-Bot. I identify as genderqueer; there are a handful of non-binaries on here. :) Also, since you like Archer and other cartoons, you should totally check out Rick and Morty. It's hilariously awful (like Archer). Happy swapping! :D Desiree
