Update 8/14/16: I recently got engaged and will be planning a wedding for next August so I will not be as active on this site as I have been. I will be joining a few swaps here and there. We are going to do a guest book where everyone writes us a postcard and we are going to have my maid of honor send them to us over the following months. I would love to get fun/interesting postcards for the guest to choose from.

Hello! My name is Nicole. I'm 25 years old and I live in Commerce, Michigan (25 mins outside Detroit). I moved here 2 years ago from Southern California where I was born and raised.

I started sending letters to family and friends when I moved away to college. I loved it so much I start sending mail to anyone who wanted it. I recently found this site and realized there are a lot of other people who like mail as much as I do and it makes me so happy!

I am a nanny for 2 awesome kids (5 and 11 years old). I love getting things that I can show them or use with them.

Painting- Last year I visited my grandmother who got me painting with watercolors. I have been hooked ever since. I recieved a set of Dr. Ph. Martins paints for Christmas and have fallen in love with painting even more. Update: I recently start using acrylics and have enjoyed them a lot. I love that you can create texture with them.

Envelope/Postcard Art- I love decoration envelopes as a stress relief. I find it relaxing to be able to do just create something beautiful for someone else to enjoy.

Mix Media Art- I recently realized the reason I liked decorating envelopes so much is because I liked the ability to use all different mediums not knowing much about mix media. I have started creating things with paints and vintage ephemera and have really enjoyed it.

I actually have a postcard wall which I hope to have covered some day. I'm really not picky but I thought I could give some suggestions. I love a good story behind why I ended up with a postcard. ( Where its was purchased, how you ended up with it, why you were drawn to it, ect.) I love things that make me laugh or smile so anything funny/ silly I would probably like. Anything from the 90s because I love things that remind me of my childhood. I like interesting vintage postcards because I love wondering where the postcard has been before I got it. Hopefully that is helpful.

I love unused old USA stamps so I can put them on enevelopes. If anyone is interesred in swapping unused stamps for something else let me know.
