I like to read. A lot. I like science fiction best. I paint robots for fun; unfortunately, I lack the ability to paint well. I like baking; I'm trying to get better at cooking things other than custards. I sew things sometimes.

Black raspberries, broccoli, and rice are some of my favorite foods. Earl Grey is my favorite tea. I like to bake custards. They're tasty.

I recently got my bachelor's degree in computer science from Purdue University, and I'm hoping to get into a graduate school soon.

I go through craft phases. I have so many craft hobbies! Right now, I don't have a good sewing station set up, and many of my other craft hobbies are packed away (in the middle of a housing transition!) So, recently, I have mostly been doing crochet. Even though I don't have all of my yarns unpacked, you really don't need very much to just sit and crochet and relax. I also like Sculpey, and making things out of clay. Painting, weaving, beading...

And I'm sure I'm forgetting something, so I'll have to update more later. :)

Historically, I have read mostly science fiction, although the last few years, I've been reading a lot of young adult/children's literature. For authors, I love Phillip Pullman, Lemony Snickett, Christopher Moore, Neal Stephenson, Orson Scott Card, Douglas Adams, and Tim Burton, to name a few.

There are so many great movies out there! I'll just try to name a couple that come to mind the quickest... O Brother, Where Art Thou?, A Prairie Home Companion, The Life Aquatic, Boondock Saints...

And so many more....

But my all-time favorite BEST EVER movie is Wall-E. Before I knew much about it, I didn't think I'd like it very much... but it is the best. movie. ever.

I'm a big fan of Mad Men! I love Mythbusters, Iron Chef (Japanese) and Star Trek... There's a new comedy out called Community which I really like... And then there's Heroes, The Office, and House...
