Favorite Crafts are anything having to do with paper and stamps. As a child I loved to rummage around in my father's desk. He had the most interesting things: "paid" stamps and pads (love the smell), paper clips of all sizes, pens, bits of paper etc... Today, I love to design personal notes, and cards to uplift and inspire friends, family, etc... I am still inspired by office supplies, pictures from magazines (for color shemes), nature and every day objects. I guess my style would be labeled: Shabby Chic with a little vintage. I lke to incorporate old lace, ribbons, and stamp images. But I like to use new techniques. I lke quick easy crochet and sewing projects. I am new to Cricut and have recently started using it for die-cuts. I am most happy and feel complete in my craft room.
I am a mom, student and caregiver. I have three children: age 20 (girl/woman), 11 (girl) and boy(10).
I am attending college and plan to graduate in May 2012 with a degree in Human Servies.
My desire is to serve older adults. As a caregiver to aging parents:, I understand the hardship, confusion and the difficult decisions that need to bemade when caring for parents, loved ones and friends.
Favorite music is Christian Pop, Rock and some gospel. Favorite artists right now are Casting Crowns: Courageous Kutless: Better is One Day Building 429: Awaken Us
