About Me

I love mail at, ATCS, scrapbooking, paper crafts, swaps. When nervousness crashed, so did I, but I am ready to get back in the game! My favorite types of magazines are scrapbooking, rubberstamping, and crafts. I've been scrapbooking and card making for almost 20 years. I lost this site a while ago, and re-found it. I am eager to get back into the mail art game. It's been a long time. I live in Maine with my daughter and her boyfriend and 4 cats. My day job is working for a software trainer for software that helps people in non-profits. Since I have not been around for a while my rating is rather low. I will be working on that. I can't remember how long ago I joined, I did my first swap in 2007 though!! I do personal swaps too. Love cultural exchanges and miss gimmeeyourstuff. :) I do have a bad rating from 2011, and am working to resolve that. It was a bad period of my life and everything just fell apart. I am righting that wrong and hoping to fix it soon.

Almost everything. I love Bran Van 3000, The Cure, Baka Beyond, Banco de Gaia, Ella Fitzgerald, Mike Relm......the list goes on and on......

ATCs, Scrapbooking, stamping, mail art. I like crocheting and embroidery but don't so much because I am horribly untalented.

Comment: Thank you! I loved everything. I actually have a hard time finding stickers I like, so I’m always happy to get them. And of course I love the postcards. The vintage one is awesome. My sister lived in Bangor for several years so I love all things Maine. Really perfect swap. :-)

Response: I'm sorry. I mailed from work so have no control over the postmark. I will mail from the post office from now on. And as far as "recycled" goes, that postcard was from the 1930s. So, yes, I guess can consider it recycled. But it is also very, very vintage and I wanted to share those treasures with people who might appreciate them. Sorry you were disappointed.

Comment: WOW! Not just an article but the whole magazine - from England! What a treat! Plus tons of Bushmen's Brew - (is that the same as bush tea as described in 'the #1 ladies detective agency?" ) Anyway, I really look forward to trying it. The package arrived just before I headed off to help my brother bottle some wine at his winery in Washington State. I browsed it all the way there and back. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness!
