hi, my name is anna! i am nineteen and i live in oregon, in the us. i have had penpals my whole life and love nothing more than sending intricately decorated mail. i have been doing post crossing and similar websites for a while as well, but i wanted to branch out and make an account here, because it seems like a great way to find people with similar interests to me. i may be new to this website but i am not new to sending mail or postcards at all!

i love to read a lot, i love nature and things like hiking and backpacking. i have a dog and two cats who i love very much. i love singing and acting, i like playing instruments and i write songs in my free time.

i am currently a college student who works full time as well so this hobby is a great way to relax and connect! excited to get started!

i will add to my profile once i complete a couple of swaps and figure out more about how this website runs and how it differs from similar forums, etc.

but i will share things i am interested in case you are looking for direction as to what to send me! although i love anything and everything, i penpal for the positive connections and words and not for any kind of collection, and often get sad about the amount of negativity in the profiles of people who are into sending mail, send me what you love!

some of my favorite books are: wild by cheryl strayed beartwon by frederick backman the women by kristin hannah on earth we're briefly gorgeous by ocean vuong my grandmother asked me to tell you she's sorry by frederick backman the five people you meet in heaven by mitch albom (i could go on forever, but this is an idea of my taste in books, i am always looking for book recs!)

i love pen palling in a scrapbooky/artsy style so i love receiving random stickers, washi tape, paper samples, etc. literally anything, the joy is in creatively finding ways to use stationery so i am not picky!
