Hello!
I make things for a living. Or I live to make things. Whichever. Lots of stationery, postcards, and the odd crocheted piece now and then. If you are extremely interested, feel free to check out my etsy store. (The link is above...)
I also really enjoy putting together special packages to mail out to people. You can rest assured that whatever I send to you will be memorable for both you and the postmaster. I am thoroughly convinced that the postal workers at the local post office think I am crazy.
things that tickle my fancy
hand made anything...I enjoy and admire the textile arts and most hand crafts.
rainbows! ... (oh yeah. I'm a long-time fan of them.)
a specific color combination that I currently love is orange and hot pink.....that's if you can't handle a whole rainbow. :P I also like most metallics, I have a slight tendency to spray paint everything gold.
unicorns ... (especially silly ones)
magnets ... (Especially if they feature someone's art or photography!)
kittens ... (if they have laser eyes, all the better)
pretty much any cute illustration of an animal
alpaca
things that should be scary, but end up cute ... or things that should be cute, but end up scary
polka dots
retro advertisements
tea (I drink it all the time) ...and chai
fountain pens and fountain pen inks
books in French - on virtually any subject, and in any condition (tattered, smells like "old book", got it for 10 cents at the second hand store, it doesn't matter bc I love them all!)
zines about pretty much anything (especially minizines, the ones that are 1/8th the size of a standard sheet of paper)
your artwork on a postcard! (that includes photography)
friendship bracelets ... (I'm apparently hooked on them)
barbie sized shoes, clothes, whatever...I like crafting at the one sixth scale, and putting together rooms with accessories for my dolls, then photographing them and sharing the photos online.
pieces of fabric with tiny scale prints on them (like florals) because I use them to make clothes for dolls ;)
mushrooms
the moon, lunar cycles

astrological charts astronomical charts
tarot cards
rocks, pretty little glass jars, dried herbs as an aesthetic

Yes, you are right--the yarn is great! Perrrrrfect color for me :-) I'm curious if you use that weight for embroidery? I'm not sure what I'll use mine for, but I know I'll find something!
Hi Cara. Thanks for the way cooler Profile Surprise. The "Love Machine" and "Super Fly" made me smile. Also the arrow to the "Lemur" on the envelope made me laugh in the elevator so everyone looked at me. <3 Thanks again!
since you can't rate a response to a swap, here's your 5 with heart for the package you sent in response to the awesome package i sent you...now, if you'll excuse me, i need to retreat back to my place of hiding because Jackie Chan is still searching for me after i escaped from him once when he confronted me (I was wondering what he was waving that bill at me for, didn't get your parcel until the next day when i popped out to see if he had gone).
