My name is Melanie, I am a military wife that is about to change in 4 more months to a retired military wife ;), a mommy to my sweet Rainbow (child born after a loss) baby who just turned 2, I am also a stepmommy to 2 handsome boys who are 20 & 15, last but not least I am a Angel Mommy to a little angel who at 8 1/2 weeks gestational age went to Heaven. I have two dogs, Destiny 11-Cocker Spaniel, and King 4-Pitbull. I am studying to become a Medical Transcriptionist and hopefully be able to work from home.

ATC's: I am new to making ATC's and have found them to be very cool to make. I am inspired but what I see on Flickr and Youtube. I am inspired as well from those who I receive from swaps I join. Please don't be rude when commenting or rating me about an ATC as it's new to me. I need some practice ;)

Likes: Owls, scarves, yarn, Americana for kitchen, jewelry, different crochet hooks, fabric Willow Tree, ribbons, stickers, scrapbooking stuff, knitting stuff, DIY ideas, altered paperclips, altered clipboards, journal books, organizing items, calendars, butterflies, American flags, quilts, post-it notes, crochet patterns, scrabble necklaces, cross necklaces, cute girlie things:) and lots more but I can't think of right now lol!

I am a Christian and love anything inspirational.

Dislikes: anything gothic, black, dark, any other religion that does not pertain to Jesus Christ.

I love reading Christian books... The book I am currently is a book by Joel Osteen.

Spanish soap operas, Bachelor, Bachlorette, Hell's Kitchen, Project Runaway, Cake Boss, Cupcake Girls, and lots more...

Favorite Crafts

Crocheting, Scrapbooking, Cards, Sewing, Knitting, and pretty much everything crafty!

Things I want to learn are: Painting on Canvas, making jewelry, and lots more ;)

Comment: I got the smashbook today and it was such a wonderful suprise. I loved the variety of colors throughout and the many pockets and note cards. It shipped well... the inside mod podged page was still a little sticky so I pulled out my matte finishing spray and sprayed the page (let it sit for a few hours to dry) and now it's totally NOT sticky. I loved the pictures you used, the M was great, and the patterend paper was nice too. I hope you receive a book that you like as well. Thanks for all the work you put into it... I can see that you did put your whole heart into it!

Comment: OMG, OMG, OMG!!! You went soooooooo far above the requirements of this swap! I LOVE everything. I just can believe all the thought you put into this package. I adore Hello Kitty and my baby dachsie, and I just can't believe all the Hello Kitty stuff. And the Dachshund magnet and coasters are so cool! The beads are just beautiful, and my friendship bracelet and ornaments are so special!!! The anklet will not come off my ankle ever :-) Thank you, thank you. You are a little angel :-)
