Hey there, I'm Krissy. I'm 27. I work as a middle school nurse and hold my LPN. I am planning on moving in October and will be changing jobs at that time. My plan is to earn my RN when I move. I'm hoping to start the program in Fall 2017. Currently I'm taking a couple of prerequisite classes for their program.
I love school and have various educational goals that are always present, but like life slightly fluid. My goals can be broken down into RN followed by BSN followed by something else. I sort of like the idea of earning my SANE certification, but then I also like the idea of working my way up to Nurse Practitioner. I'll figure it out as I go.
I identify as a reader, writer, gemini, feminist, (frequently liberal), free spirit. I love nature and hiking. I also enjoy crafty things. Snailmail is a particular passion of mine. I've been writing letters since elementary school when a childhood friend moved away. I write everyday in some shape or form. I use my planner as a creative scribble pad. I journal regularly. I write letters or short stories, and so on. I have far too many pens and feel no shame over this. :)
I love to travel and explore. I like architecture, particularly older buildings. Genealogy interests me. Actually a wide variety of things interest me. :)
My passion in life is books. Writing, reading, being surrounded by book space...I love it all. I'm the type of woman who finds the local library whenever I go to a new place. I have a list of libraries that I'd love to visit when I travel.
I read a wide variety of genres. I keep track of them in a spreadsheet. I want more diversity in my reading life, so at the end of this year I'm going to look over the spreadsheet (I just started it in Jan 2016) and see where I'm lacking diversity. I typically read whatever catches my eye either via wandering the library/bookstore or book recommendations. With the spreadsheet I'm hoping to find a pattern and take my reading to a new level! :)
If it were more practical I'd own a bookstore. Maybe someday! :)
