Oh my goodness, Cynthia... call me cynical or sceptical or jaded (and I can be, more's the pity, but I just call myself a realist!) but I did not expect the high calibre of artwork I have just espied on your profile page. You're good! You didn't just get the mood down pat, or the expression, delicate linework, or keen contrast of the bird of prey, you didn't mess up the eyes! In fact, better than that, you drew great eyes. :) (In fact, you only drew one but I feel as though it was two.) And your surrealist pic. I'm verrry sceptical about (the value of?) surrealist art - I don't know why that is, but this feeling even encompasses Dali sometimes - yet I truly love your yellow drawing! Two of my favourite media are: delicate lead pencil work, and (cough - blue biro....) :X (Specifically, blue biro on lined school folder or exercise book paper.... I am very lo-fi. You can tell, right?) Anyway, I won't ramble ad nauseam now that I already have, but just to add that I would love to do a private swap with you. Why don't you set one up - whatever tickles your fancy - and I'll, like, totally join, OK? I feel confident with you. :)
