Happy new year! i just noticed that you like anne of green gables and little house on the prairie (me too!) have you ever seen Lark Rise to Candleford? thats what i was watching today and i bet you'd like it! (sometimes i think everything BBC touches turns to gold though, so maybe i'm biased but all my favorite series are made by BBC!)
