About Me

(A quick word concerning my ratings and hearts: I was hospitalized for 2 months and was late on some of my swaps. Beforehand, I had a 5.0 rating) I am born and raised in Ohio, living with my cats, Blade and Midnight, who are 2 of the most loving cats you could ever meet. I am 40 years old, a gradate in applied science, under graphic design. I live a very simple life, in a very simple small college town. I enjoy doing many types of art and there are very few art mediums/techniques that I would refuse to try. I believe it is so important for people to be able to express themselves without consequence. Something I often say about life in general is: "To each their own"

Favorite Television

The Simpson's, Jimmy Fallon, Carson Daley, Jane and the Dragon, Wunderkind Little Amedeus, The Big Bang Theory, Seinfeld, King of the Hill, Ugly Betty, public television, documentaries, I Love Lucy, cartoons of all sorts, Independent Lens, Gumby, So You Think You Can Dance, old sitcoms like Different Strokes, cooking shows, Rachel Ray, Martha Stewart, American Idol, America's Got Talent, The Office, Pokemon, Glee, Bob's Burgers, anime

Favorite Art Media

DIY, knitting on a loom, crocheting, sewing, pen and ink, markers, conte colored crayons, pencil, sewing, avid art doll-making, chunky book pages, rolodex cards, watercolor and acrylic painting, art journaling, writing and playing music, ATCs, polymer clay, scratch art, decoupage, collage, origami, zentangle, coloring, learning more and being inspired daily :)

I Am A Free Thinker

I believe that within each and every individual, no matter who they are, is the potential to do some form of art, whether it is in the form or painting, drawing, photography, speech, poetry, sewing, knitting, cooking, writing, film, music, and so on. A person only needs to seek it out and see what they can do.

Some of My Favorite Things

Comment: Hasn't signed onto Swap-bot since September 25, 2010, and I haven't received this swap. Oct. 21, 2010; UPDATE 7/19/13: Elizabeth, I noticed that you have last logged into SB on 7/16/13. I would be happy to remove this 1 from your rating if you wanted to do this swap. It's such an easy swap and not worth having a 1 over. Won't you consider it? :) I'd love to help bring your rating back up ... Karla, 7/19/13
