Thank you to hippofairy - the most beautiful, and very long, book thong turned up in my post today. It has gone straight into action since one of the books I am reading has lots of footnotes at the end of the book - the marker keeps both pages with just one marker used. Perfect. Also, when I am reading the front, its section of ribbon hangs over the back so that I don't loose it as I read in bed.
