On Hiatus until June 2012
Working AND College both full time.
Often described as a throw back to the 60s or 70s, a beatnik / neo-hippie with a touch of romance and the gothic - dark bohemian or even green on the outside, black on the inside. Although my hippie duds do reflect my darker side most of the time.
Dreadlocked mindful mama and wife, a Green Witch with a UU / Quaker / Zen bent who is very interested in intention, herbs and cooking.
I have been recently diagnosed with pretty severe arthritis in my left hand & wrist and right shoulder. So I am learning how to hold my yarn differently (knit & crochet) and rethinking how to do certain types of crafts. That along with the fact, my brother in law is currently living in my office/craft room, I am taking it slowly & doing in-depth crafty swaps very sparingly.
I also suffer from CFS/FMS, so I have good weeks and I have "bad" weeks. It usually doesn't effect my swapping but occasionally if things get piled up, I might get a day or three behind.
Don't worry if you are running late. Just drop me a note, but honestly most of the time I don't notice if anything is late.
Hobo Witch Kit - package was returned as unclaimed by post office with the first & second attempts to send.
Resent third time to new address DC#: 0309 1830 0001 9054 8694
Received no acknowledgment nor rating from partner.
Extremely Eclectic - gregorian chant to 40's standards to filk to indie to country to graver to angry chick rock.
Godsmack, James Taylor, Judgment Day, Good Charlotte, Theory of a Deadman, Harry Connick Jr., Rasputina, Louis Armstrong, Moldy Peaches, Mediaeval Baebes, Shannon Curfman, Blue October, The Weepies, etc., etc., etc.
I love to read, anything. The bulk of my library (which used to run well over 1,000 books and getting up there again) consists of sci-fi, fantasy, good historical romance & mysteries. I have been known to whiz through as many as 20 books in a month.
Among my faves are: Terry Pratchett, Susan Wittig Albert, Jane Austen, JD Robb, William Gibson, Neil Gaiman, Laurell K. Hamilton, Lucy Maude Montgomery, Dr. Suess, etc., etc., etc.
After books my next greatest passion is fiber. Currently yarning (crochet, knit, spin & weave) has been out pacing my sewing, quilting, scrapping and paper art. But it's all in the mix.
I strongly prefer natural fibers.
I also adore good art (drawing & lettering) pens and watercolor pencils.
Allergic to milk = no milk chocolate, no candy containing casein.
Allergic to wheat = no cookies, nothing containing malt or gluten.
Coffee is honestly something to be drank when no other form of caffeine can be found. But do enjoy iced coffee made with flavored organic coffees like hazelnut & spiced vanilla.
As for tea - LOVE IT!
Rooibos, White, Green, Black, Coconut Chai, Blooming, Herbal...
Current faves:
Blue / Denim / Indigo / Cobalt
Jewel Tones - emerald as opposed to lime or amethyst instead of lavender or ruby red as opposed to princess pink.
Also prefer silver over gold.
Please, no earthy colors. I really don't want to donate or re-gift your lovely gifts. But I simply do NOT wear brown, orange, olive, yellow, rust or tan, ever.
Rather fond of plain ol' black and white. Crisp clean snow white, I don't mean ivory, cream, etc.
I am extremely fond of soy candles, solid perfumes and handmade body butters/whips.
My favorite scents are green, grass, citrus, lemongrass, smoke, whiskey/rum, plum, fig, pomegranate, rose, pepper, almond, honey, water, ocean.
Absolutely No: patchouli. Nor am I fond of musk or lavender unless they are very much an undertone.
Allergic to Bath & Body Works & Victoria Secrets' lotions & scents
I have a BPAL list for Imps on my Wist. (found above)
For Swaps for Children 5-16yrs & other curious folk
Allergic to milk = no milk chocolate, no candy containing casein.
I do not always comment and I do not give everyone hearts.
I have been known to go back and up my rating after a couple days of reflection.
But do NOT snark at me about not giving a heart. I won't bother with you again.

Hi! I was just wondering if you were still interested in finding someone to do a private swap with for the 7 Deadly Sins ATC's that we missed out on, I am interested in getting caught up on them and @ChelseaLake also expressed interest in a private swap for this so I thought maybe we could do a 3 way private swap between us? Let me know what you think! <3 Angie
