I believe that good living begins when you explore your creative side.

Art and creativity has always been part of my life. I grew up in a house full of my mom’s paintings, and she always encouraged my creativity. To help me stay focused (and quiet) during church on Sunday, she taught me the basics of drawing and how to find the joy in the process of creating as well as the end result.

As a "creative magpie", I always found myself trying new ways of expressing myself and bringing beauty to the world around me. Over the years, I have dabbled in everything from stained glass to metal smithing, writing to needlework.

Now, I make art using watercolors and ink, but not in a way that focuses on layered colors, patterns, and abstract florals. I also find great joy in teaching others how they can tap into their own creativity and make a beautiful peace of art, no matter their level of artistic talent.
