Hi Kari~ I just wanted to share my good news= my (illegal) hens just laid their first egg! It was small and brown, and tasted very good. So far there have been no more, but I;, confident that we soon will have a steady stream of eggs from the two hens. Clarence the rooster has gone byebye cuz he was too noisy for the circumstances but Homer the drake is keeping the girls company. Quacks don't offend as much as crowing does.
