It IS difficult to ship a matchbox! My husband gave me a good idea for shipping mine...I used 6 layers of cardboard, and in the middle 4 layers, I cut a matchbox-sized hole and nestled the matchbox inside! It made for a flatter, longer item to mail, and it was protected, too!
