I'm a college student going into my last semester at Middlebury College in Vermont, but am originally from New Jersey. I'm double majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology and working on figuring out what I want to do once I graduate. Med school and grad school are currently being debated. I played softball and field hockey in college.
My favorite color is blue (all shades)--though I also like pink and green a lot, too. I really like fruit and absolutely love desserts--especially ice cream. I love to travel and love spending time at the beach. I love the outdoors and animals--especially koalas, otters, and penguins...and of course my 10-year-old Standard Poodle named Shadow.
I like all kinds of music and definitely go through phases of what I'm listening to. I just spent the summer in Denver, CO and started listening to a lot more of the pop-type country music. I also love dance music when I'm back at school and listen to a lot of classic rock, which I learned to love from my father.
I love to read, although the last few semesters at school I've been so busy that I haven't had as much time for pleasure reading. When I do have time, I really enjoy mysteries. I'm currently reading a book entitled The Upside of Irrationality, written by a behavioral economist about why people act the ways they do.
I love the TV show Friends and am also a huge fan of Modern Family, Glee, House, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, and the Mentalist.
My two favorite movies are The Sandlot and A League of Their Own--I think it must be the softball player in me!
I started doing crafts when I was little and have loved them ever since. I'm really interested in trying all sorts of new things. I get in phases where I learn or figure out something new to make and then make a bunch of them. I've done a bunch of scrapbooking in the past (since I love taking pictures and holding onto memories), made covered button earrings, and ribbon belts, among numerous other things. My grandmother taught me to sew when I was young and I really enjoy that also.
