My name is Mieke. I'm a 57 years old and living in Rotterdam (Netherlands). I'm married and have 2 childeren. I have a job at a school as 'timetable administrator'. I'm often busy with my crafts and making swaps. Also I like to cycle and nordic walking in my surrounding. I really like to make swaps. It's great fun when I return home and a pretty envelope on the doormat is waiting at my home coming.

I had in the past several hobbies, such as lacemaking, quilting, embroidery and textile art. At the moment I really like to play with paper and paint and create for example a art journal, collages, mailart, handmade books. I love mixed media. Somethimes I make also my own stamps. I followed several e-courses from Mary Ann Moss, Jane Davenport and Roben-Marie Smith.

I like to do:

• Swaps and mailart.
• Playing with paper and paint in my art journal.

• Making (micro) photographs from flowers and insects in my garden.
• Drinking coffee by Kaldi with my mother.
• Drinking tea.
• Eating with friends.
• Walking and bicycle in the nature.

• Some themes I like are: Alice in wonderland, Circus, Winnie-the-Pooh (not the Disney-kind, but the older ones), Richard Scarry.
• Old black and white vintage photos.
• Polaroid photo's.
• Old handwriting.
• Old bus/train/theater tickets.
• All sort of vintage ephemera.
• Different types of ephemera paper (e.g. old handwriting, handwritten notes, old postcards, old advertisment cards, old happy birthday/cristmas cards).
• Vintage magazines, wrapping paper, old games items.

• Delipaper. If you have delipaper in house, please send me some.
• Circus items.
• Alice-in-wonderland items.
• Old winnie-the-Pooh items.
• Black and white vintage photos or color photos.

I like the colour combinations turquoise, (lime)green, red and purple or turquoise with orange/ grey. But I like all the colors actually. Lots of color combinations (6 or more) together I don't like so much.

I like nice looking postal stamps, not those postoffice printouts.

White or green tea are my favourites with a fruit flavor. And i like spicy tea. I love to experiment with tea.

I like the next tea very much:

• LOV Organic tea.
• Nordqvist Valkoinen (flavoured white tea).
• Elephant, Mandarine Croseille.
• Goldmanchen-tee, medi-terranee provence.

I don't like:

• Rooibos tea (translation bushtea, redbush tea, red tea, South African red tea).
• Tea with ginger or gingerbread.

While I would totally be grateful for anything you send to me, these are the things I would have to pass on to others:

• Religious, scary, vampire, zombie, war, Hello Kitty, Disney, kawaii.

I don’t like:

• Things with a parfume or other smell. Parfum is so personal.
• GLITTER or SAND.
• Don’t send me (old) bookpages and washi tape. I have enough of it.

I rarely read books, usually only during a vacation. When I read books, then it is often detectives.

I read sometimes magazines, for instance ArtJournaling or the Flow. And I read the dutch newspaper 'Algemeen Dagblad'.
