Right now I have a great vintage tablecloth of a map of England on the dining room table and my Hubby and I are chating about taking a trip to England within the next two years. 40 years ago just before university he travel there for 10 months. Thank you so much for the beautiful assortment of Japanese fabric. I have wanted fabric from Japan for the longest time...and you've made my wish come true! My daughters and I loved looking at all the different patterns. Now the fun part: making some projects with them! I'm so excited to get started creating items with such lovely fabric!

I envy you the printer's tray! I'm attempting to organize my treasures and unique items into my own 'Cabinet of Curiosities', and it sounds as if something like that would be perfect, at least for the smaller items...
At present I have a 'Walden Shelf' (since it looks like something Thoreau might have hung on the side of his cabin) that I put together in my studio out of weathered, repurposed boards - rough-cut, dusted with a haze of green and bits of moss here and there - which holds my various treasures, from mini shrines to antique chessmen, a cow's tooth, whimsy bottles, vintage ephemera, etc....
I got your St. Kilda postcard! Thank you. It's beautiful-- and arrived rather quickly, I'd say, despite the troubles with the mail. And I'd love for you to participate in the Ad Postcard Tag as soon as you'd like!
