Hi! My name is Mindy. I live in Georgia with my husband (married since 2008) and our son Micah (born May 2009). Micah is autistic, 14 years old now, and growing up fast!

Since starting Swap-bot, Micah has definitely matured. He still enjoys the occasional swap (it still tickles him!), and he still adores Doctor Who, but his interests have shifted more toward video games. He’s still childlike in some ways, but he’s also very much a teenager now. If you plan on “surprising” us, please keep in mind he’s an almost-typical teenage boy 😊

I honestly cannot have enough stickers — especially food, flamingo, Disney, or owl themes!

I LOVE postmarks and seeing where the card came from. If possible, could you please ask for the circle cancellation mark? It may require asking at the counter, but it means so much to me. My biggest pet peeve is no cancellation or no visible origin markings.

Please also write legibly — I use postcards as learning tools, and sometimes we can’t read usernames or messages.

I love country music and pop. I really like how some of the newer country artists have incorporated the pop sound to country but also like some of the older stuff to. I like how some have switched genres to.

I love postcards with lighthouses and owls on them. My kitchen is owls and apples. Its quite colorful. It all blends together nicely.

I love lighthouses!!!! Also love Disney especially Winnie the Pooh and Mickey. I love purple.
