I have been away from here for a while because...well, life gets hectic and things happen. Priorities change. I'm now dipping my toes back in the swapping waters.
I only sign up for swaps I know I can do and have time for. I always rate. If you don't receive something from me please let me know so I can rectify it immediately.
I have a slightly warped sense of humor. All right, more than slightly. It's totally warped. You can't really offend me.
I have a tremendous dislike of having to chase down swaps I am owed. I'm a reasonable person, if you cannot send to me on time it's up to YOU to notify ME, not for me to figure it out by going to your profile after the fact. If you choose not to communicate with me then I choose to rate you according to the guidelines set about for all of us.
Digging the blues.
I love to play with paper and I make a lot of cards with envelopes. I find it so relaxing to create something from a pretty piece of paper. I love paper.
Crochet is my obsession in the winter. Yarn is my addiction. I like sewing simple things like pin cushions and quilts and aprons. I also like to repurpose stuff when possible.
I don't like cutesy/character things like Hello Kitty or Disney items.
Religious items that are pushed on to me. I don't believe in religion.
The smell of cigarettes
Any quirky little irregular thing, especially if it's handmade.
Yarn.
Pretty scrapbook paper / cardstocks / cut outs / die cuts. I don't own a die cutter though, so any die cuts are appreciated.
fat quarters
sewing notions
glass beads
chocolate-except for white
magazines of any kind
anything dark & humorous
hand drawn stuff-I don't have this talent myself so I hold it in very high regards
flavored coffees
catnip & cat toys
odd things from nature-weird looking nuts, bones, leaves, twigs or feathers.
Old books in different languages
I truly do appreciate anything that you've taken the time to make.
I like earth tones. Browns, greens, pinks and creams are my favorites.. I don't really care for pastels, and fluorescent ANYTHING would be horribly horrible. Ick.
I love short horror stories and anthologies. Anything on the paranormal/supernatural fascinates me, fictional or non-fictional. I like historical fiction, stories in general about people's everday lives. I like crafting/decorating books also. Not too much into mysteries. I don't like romance novels at all.
I haven't been active here for like 10 years because life got busy and I forgot about it. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things. There wasn't really too much I had to update on my profile, surprisingly.
Good smells: All citrus fruits, ginger, pineapple, lavender, lilac, a freshly washed person right out of the shower, cedar trees, lily of the valley, fresh mountain pine on a warm summer morning.
Bad smells: Cigarettes, vanilla, mildew, cheap pine, cat butt

Hey! Just a quick hi. I got you in the Sew What swap. You are the only other person I know that knows who Big Head Todd and the Monsters are! And that you have a warped sense of humor, well can't wait to make something.

saw you needed help with the wreck this journal. what I did was google "wreck this journal prompts" and got enough to make up my 50.. what I did was write down all my prompts I would use first.. and then started wrecking it ;-) HOpe this helps.
Thank you so much for the Stephen King book. My husband is very excited. AND thank you for the EXTRA goodies! Happy Swapping!
May I steal your rating swaps blurb? It's the most pithy and even-handed I've seen. (If I do it myself, I'll ramble ramble ramble. Like that.)
