hello fellow swappers!
i live in central british columbia, canada. i work part time and parent full time i currently have two children, 5 dogs, 1 cat and a bearded dragon.
i spend as much time as possible crafting and creating.i also work three part time jobs...ick the planning required to get through the days in some sort of organized fashion.
i enjoy laughter, camping, visiting, thought provoking questions and i fully value friendships
i love to chat on the telephone, friends who just stop by for a visit and those who suggest going for a walk or doing something else together. sadly such friends seem few and far between. i wonder if it is age, timing, lifestyles, peoples energy levels and so on. i wonder allot :)
i sometimes write short stories, often from the perspective of a hippo. i collect hippos in various forms. my nickname is pickle so i also have a variety of pickle items. i love color...all colors especially the bright ones
*i love quotes and poetry and zines.LOVE THEM!
i am always interested in private swaps if that is your fancy!
folk music... ben harper, jack johnson, johnny cash, local folk music...
coal miners daughter, a chorus line, lord of the rings series...almost anything with tommy lee jones...action movies
i wont even try to deny it...i love television but we dont get any channels :( so, i often will watch series that i borrow or rent on dvd. i watched six feet under, 24 (final season), breaking bad, charmed, 21 jump street...i am always looking for suggestions.
i have medium next up, dexter and the harry potters....
i have tried many a craft and am always looking for that craft that grabs me.
i make fork jewelry, sew, knit, felt, write, stain glass, rug hook, make pin back buttons...among the few. i like to give my creations away. i would love to sell my items but i have not figured that out yet...and i wonder if it would take the fun out of it.
*i will always rate if i receive...and even pr ovide extra time for those who may get a swap away late. if i have not received anything...i will rate a 1 but be open to changing that rating if something should come along. i wont email you privately to tell you it did not show...thats what the rating is for in my opinion. I will not tolerate meaness or rudeness. There is enough of that in real life. i will not engage, i will not shower you with any attention.
to the majority of you who send, and send fabulous letters and whatnot. hats off to you and your thoughtfulness.

Hi. Just wanted to let you know that I sent the Christmas card I forgot in the Tried & True Recipe Swap. Merry Christmas!
Oooh! I'd love to find a great cookbook design! I hope to get somemore zines so I can get an idea of what I'd like to do!
Hi there; I really enjoyed the zine you sent me and I was wondering if you might be interested in contributing to the swap-bot collective zine (the subject is "swaps". Let me know if you are, okay?
Thanks for sending your I Wish letter and the new zine!
Thanks for the craft zine! Kind of felt like I was whirling around inside your head as I read all your crafty thoughts,(it's interesting in there:) ) Luv your step son's skull and crossbones, too. Almost ruined the zine trying to cut the tape to open, but thought it was cool that it was a self mailer. Thanks!
