Yay for the UK! I don't seem to find too too many of us on here.
Well, I recently finished university and have no desire to go back at any point, but maybe one day it'll grow on me. Sounds like a busy life with both of you studying and having two young daughters! I hope it's going well for you all!
I've recently learned to knit, and it too is quite difficult. Only got a scarf so far!! I think I'm getting the hang of it though. I found a book on amazon called Knitty Gritty, which is knitting for beginners. I wonder if they have anything similar for crocheting? Try this link.

I've also recently gotten into ATC. I heard of them long ago but didn't have anything to trade with so never did them. I love that on here I can make and trade them and get ideas for new ones.
