My name is Jess. I was born in Mexico City but moved to the USA in 2000, in my early twenties.

I love postcards and cute stickers. Don't get me started on fine and extra-fine pens or notebooks.

I started collecting postcards when I was 12 - 14 years old. My first postcard was from a very dear cousin, with whom I have remained close throughout my life.

A few months after receiving my first postcard, I met someone from Spain while visiting an art exposition. I became his tourist guide for the next four days before he returned to Barcelona. He sent me about eight postcards from different European countries within 4-5 years.

Ever since then, whenever I hear a friend or relative will be visiting a city or country I have never visited, I ask them to please buy me two or three postcards. "You don't need to mail them; bring them back with you. I'll even give you money to buy a couple."

That's the best way to guarantee I get at least one postcard from anyone's trip.

Throughout the years, I've collected about 150 postcards. Some have beautiful pictures of animals, landscapes, or both. Some are from museums or landmarks, a few are handmade, and some are silly or cartoonish. I love each of them!

I am very proud of my collection, but I don't know too many people that travel internationally. With your help, I would love to expand my collection.
